Rating: 5/5

This Irish band’s first album in years does not disappoint. Combining many styles of alternative rock and pop to form their own unique sound, My Bloody Valentine is one of the most unique bands out there and this album proves it with haunting melodies and consistently excellent building back-beats. If you are a fan of bands like My Morning Jacket you will be a fan of this album, as it follows along the same jam-band style indie music that blends the two genres together very nicely. “Only Tomorrow” is a highlight of the album, combining more upbeat guitars with the band’s traditional lyrical style for a truly superb track.
